“How very little can be done under the spirit of fear.” ~ Florence Nightingale was an English social reformer and statistician, and the founder of modern nursing . How might this assertion be both true and false? When might “the spirit of fear” act as a great motivator for positive action? When might fear cause a person to freeze into complete inaction?
